The Tianchi Monster is a creature said to live in China's Heaven Lake (Cheonji in Korean). It's said to be a buffalo like creature, first spotted as early as 1903. Some people argue that there as as many as 20 of these monsters. In 2007 on september 6th, a Chinese TV reporter said he had shot a 20-minute video of six unidentified creatures in the volcanic lake. The report says that there where 6 seal-like finned creatures in the lake swimming and frolicking for an hour and a half, before they disappeared. The reporter stated "They could swim as fast as yachts and at times they would all disappear in the water. It was impressive to see them all acting at exactly the same pace, as if someone was giving orders. Their fins—or maybe wings—were longer than their bodies." Little is known about this animal compared to other more researched animals such as the chupacabra or Bigfoot. I'll leave the news video here for the rest of you to decide whether or not you want to believe in this legend.
